Other Servants

A servant knows that she can't go through life without the support of other servants. These ladies are my favorite people ever! They will be guest blogging on here and you will absolutely love them!

So here are my favorite servant girls...

Ms. Danielle Barr

I call her DBarr. I’ve known her since the first day of art class our freshmen year of high school. Since then we’ve spent too much time watching pointless TV shows and eating too much BBQ. She is the bestest friend anyone could ask for!

She goes to school at University of North Texas (the Mean Green with some kind of bird as a mascot. Ask her and she’ll make the sound for you, any where, any time). Even though we’ve spent the past few years apart, our phone calls and Skype dates pick up right where we left off.

Our conversations consist of every topic in the whole wide world. Our Facebook creeping skills are at an expert level when we get together.

In a nutshell: Texas Longhorns, Duck Dynasty and Swamp People, boots, the best artist I know, creative, animal print lover, cat hater, expert designer purse shopper, Light Blue Dolce and Gabbana wearer.

Her life as a servant has taken her on a ride…you’ll love her story! She talks about her Father in the most intimate way that will bring tears to your eyes. She seeks daily to live humbly in the world He created for her. I’m so lucky to call her my buddy.

"It's one of those things where you say you're just kidding, but you really mean it." - DBarr

Ms. Kate Coleman

She is a 2012 Texas A&M graduate, whoop! Majored in Communications/Business. Now living in the DFW area working a grown up job and being an adult.

She has been there for me my entire life! Literally. We use to play Restaurant, House and School, make up the best dances and watch Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen solve any crime before dinnertime. Now, we enjoy grown up things like pedicures and fro-yo!

When life gets crazy and just too much for me to handle, she is the one who calms me down and gives me wise advise while supplying a steady stream of chocolate. She is the most steadfast servant I've ever known.

In a nutshell: Vanilla lattes, Carrie Underwood, her bed is always made, Pottery Barn, anything health related, Beth Moore, best laugh and smile around, naturally blonde, great sunglasses and anything fashion related.

Her life is a beautiful picture of how the Lord rewards His servants who are faithful to Him, wait for Him and love Him with the life He gives. She is a beautiful inside and outside! I’m so proud to call her my cousin.
